A tour of Nine Miles is a family affair as many of Bob's close relatives live there. The tour takes you through the house Bob lived as a young boy and your guide will share insights into Bob Marley's childhood and musical career. Then travel through the hills of our Lush garden Parish (St. Ann) where you will make a stop at one of Jamaica's revival Churches to experience another of our rich heritage and culture. Tour Itinerary JAMMIN IN JAMAICA
Day 1 Arrival and transfer to Ocho Rios.
- Arrive in Jamaica and transfer to Ocho Rios, check-in at the Crane Ridge Resort.
- Dinner at the hotel (Included)
Day 2 - Ocho Rios – Port Antonio.
- Start with a climb of the famous 600ft Dunn’s River Falls.
- Lunch at the Ruins beside the falls, then drive along the scenic coastal road
to Port Antonio
- This journey will take you past the renowned Writer’s retreat of Ian Fleming, which served as inspiration to his first and many other James Bond Novels.
- Journey along the lush tropical scenery enhanced by miles of banana plantation that line the route.
- Overnight at Jamaica Palace.
Day 3 - Port Antonio.
- During the morning, visit the famous Summerset Falls, which is renowned for its romantic waterfalls.
- Later drive over to Boston Bay, home of “Jerk” (Jamaica’s popular cooking style) after which you will get a chance to swim at the blue Lagoon. Then drive to Frenchman’s Cove on the beach for lunch.
- Spend the afternoon at your leisure, soaking up the delights of the north east coast. Alternatively, take a rafting trip (optional) along the Rio Grande River.
Day 4 - Port Antonio – Kingston – Treasure Beach
- Up at dawn for the journey through the foot-hills of the Blue Mountain.
- Onwards to Kingston for lunch at Devon House then visit Bob Marley’s former home, now a museum.
- Drive through Kingston on a brief city tour, then further along the south coast to Spanish Town, the first Capital of Jamaica.
- Travel takes you along the winding sugar cane fields for an overnight stay at the Treasure Beach Hotel.
Day 5 - Treasure Beach
- Morning at your leisure to soak up the sun and calm ambience of Treasure Beach.
- Journey to Appleton Estate & Rum Factory for tour & lunch, then visit Black River Safari & YS Falls (Optional) or Journey back to the peace and quiet of Treasure Beach.
- In the evening dine at the Jack Spratt restaurant that specializes in Jamaican style seafood.
Day 6 - Treasure Beach – Negril
- Depart for Negril, then stop for tour and lunch at the popular Mayfield Falls, famous for the rich mineral content of the water and alleged healing properties.
- Arrive with plenty of time to watch the stunning sunset in Negril’s West End where you literally watch the sun disappear into the Caribbean Sea.
- Stay overnight at the Shields Negril or Paradise View Hotel.
- Dinner at your hotel
Day 7 - Negril
- Breakfast at the hotel, before transferring on to your chosen beach hotel.
